Natalie Relich is Executive Director at the OHorizons Foundation, responsible for day-to-day operations and program management.
Over the last six years, Ms. Relich has been able to play a hands-on roll in the growth and development of the OHorizons Foundation, starting as an intern and then a graduate fellow before eventually leading day-to-day operations and project implementation. She has played a key role in the development and implementation of a key technology in helping people get clean water around the world, the Wood Mold™ BioSand Filter. From concept into successful pilot project, and now into one of the largest BioSand Filter programs in the world, Ms. Relich has been an instrumental contributor in the expansion of efforts to get the Wood Mold into as many hands as possible.
Ms. Relich has spent most of her professional career working for various nonprofits on international development issues. She taught English in China for a year after college and worked for a non-profit during graduate school that worked on off-grid electricity issues in Haiti. She has lived and worked in China, Bangladesh, Haiti, South Africa, Philippines, Ecuador, and Kenya.
She holds a BA in Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Public Administration from New York University.
